2014-15 Training Camp Jerseys

The Colorado Avalanche announced its training camp dates and roster for the upcoming 2016-17 campaign on Tuesday.
Colorado opens camp Thursday, Sept. 22, with veterans reporting for medical and physical testing. The full squad will be on the ice on Friday, Sept. 23, and Saturday, Sept. 24, at the South Suburban Family Sports Center in Centennial, Colorado. Camp is free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. On-ice activities will begin at approximately 8:45 a.m. on each day.

The Avalanche will have 59 players at camp, which includes 23 that also participated in the team's Rookie Camp. Forwards Gabriel Bourque, Rene Bourque and Jiri Tlusty will also join the club's activities on professional tryouts.
Colorado's six players that are participating at the World Cup of Hockey in Toronto-Matt Duchene (Canada), Erik Johnson (United States), Gabriel Landeskog (Sweden), Nathan MacKinnon (North America), Carl Soderberg (Sweden) and Semyon Varlamov (Russia)-will join the Avs after their commitments with their national teams are completed at the tournament.
The Avalanche will hold its annual Burgundy/White Game on Sunday, Sept. 25, at the University of Denver. The intrasquad matchup begins at 3 p.m.
Colorado's preseason schedule starts Tuesday, Sept. 27, at the Minnesota Wild. Colorado's first home preseason game at the Pepsi Center is Wednesday, Sept. 28, versus the Dallas Stars.
