Frederic, a forward, has not practiced since he crashed into the boards in Boston's 5-3 win against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Monday, and he is considered day to day. … Forbort, a defenseman, practiced for the first time on Tuesday since having open reduction and internal fixation surgery on Nov. 3 to repair a broken finger sustained against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Nov. 1, a 6-5 win. Forbort is on track to return by early - to mid-December.
