Lizotte suspended one game for cross-checking

NEW YORK - Los Angeles Kings forward Blake Lizotte has been suspended for one game, without pay, for cross-checking Winnipeg Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey during NHL Game No. 1154 in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 25, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 14:10 of the second period. Lizotte was assessed a match penalty.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and, based on his average annual salary, Lizotte will forfeit $9,054.05. The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
