San Antonio Rampage

Captain Joe Whitney netted his 250th point in the match with a goal, while Gabriel Bourque had two helpers on the night and was named the second star of the game. Mike Sislo also added an assist, improving his scoring total to seven points on the season (three goals, four assists).
Goaltender Spencer Martin made his first NHL call-up on Friday to serve as the backup for Calvin Pickard in the Avs' Saturday night contest against the Vancouver Canucks. Semyon Varlamov was unavailable, as he needed an extra day to rest his injured wrist.
With Pickard going up, Kent Simpson started behind the pipes for San Antonio in Saturday's contest at H-E-B Center, while Nathan Lieuwen was recalled from the Colorado Eagles to serve as his backup. The Rampage couldn't secure the road win, as it was shutout 3-0 by the Stars despite outshooting its rival 14-3 in the third period.
Martin was reassigned to San Antonio on Sunday.
Rocco Grimaldi leads the Rampage in scoring with 15 points (six goals, nine assists) in 19 games, while A.J. Greer is close behind with 14 points (five goals, nine assists) in 16 contests.
San Antonio hosts the San Jose Barracuda in back-to-back games this weekend.

Colorado Eagles (ECHL)

The Colorado Eagles saw Rapid City Rush on three separate occasions this past week, going 2-1 in the thrilling series. All three matches went into overtime and one was decided by a shootout. The Eagles are now leading the Mountain Division with 24 points; they are 10-5-1-3 on the season.
On Wednesday night, the Eagles competed against the rival Rush at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center in South Dakota and picked up their first win of the week in a 3-2 victory. Colorado recorded a season-high 45 shots on net in the contest.
The teams then traveled to Loveland, Colorado, to play at the Budweiser Events Center for a two-game homestand Friday and Saturday. On Friday, the Rush beat the Eagles 4-3 in a shootout. Colorado forward Jesse Mychan had a pair of tallies in loss. On Saturday, Colorado rallied to a 2-1 win for its second victory of the week.
The Eagles will now go on the road to face the Adirondack Thunder this Friday and Saturday.

OHL

Travis Barron (Ottawa 67's): The Ottawa 67's went 1-1 in their games this past week. On Friday, they fell 4-2 against the Winsor Spitfires. Ottawa then played the Sarnia Sting on Saturday and won 5-3. The 67's are now third in the East Division with a 12-12-2 record on the year. Travis Barron has seen time in 19 games and has recorded 15 points (two goals, 13 assists).

QMJHL

JC Beaudin (Rouyn-Noranda Huskies): The Rouyn-Noranda Huskies found success in two of their three competitions last week, and Beaudin contributed an assist in each match. On Wednesday, Rouyn-Noranda skated against the Sherbrooke Phoenix and won 4-3. The Huskies then lost 5-4 on Friday night against the Victoriaville Tigres, with Beaudin winning 14-of-23 faceoffs. Sunday's game was a step to get Rouyn-Noranda back on track as they beat the Rimouski Oceanic 3-1. Beaudin is second on the team in scoring with 31 points in 23 games this season. He ranks first on the Huskies in assists with 20.
Nicolas Meloche (Gatineau Olympiques): The Gatineau Olympiques went 1-1 this past week, playing Baie-Comeau on Friday night and Acadie-Bathurst on Saturday. The Olympqiues beat the Drakkar 6-1 on Friday, with Nicolas Meloche contributing two goals and a helper to the win. Gatineau fell 6-3 to the Titan on Saturday. Meloche leads all defensemen on his team in scoring with 13 points (six goals and seven assists) in 17 games.

WHL

Josh Anderson (Prince George Cougars): The Prince George Cougars went 1-2 this past week. The Cougars started things off well as they defeated the Regina Pats 5-2 on Tuesday. However, Prince George struggled to get on the board on Saturday, as it was shutout 3-0 by the Everett Silvertips. On Sunday, Prince George found the back of the net on three separate occasions, but the team's effort just wasn't enough as it lost 6-3 to the Portland Winterhawks. Avs prospect Josh Anderson skated in all three matches. The Cougars continue to lead the B.C. Division with an 18-6-2 mark on the season.

NCAA

Will Butcher (University of Denver): The No. 2-ranked University of Denver Pioneers added to their successful season this past week. They skated against Air Force on Friday night, taking a thrilling 4-3 overtime win. Senior defenseman Will Butcher had two helpers in the team's victory. On Saturday, the Pioneers played Wisconsin and picked up a 6-5 win. Butcher netted a goal and an assist to contribute to the team's second victory of the weekend. He was named the NCHC Defenseman of the Week on Monday. Butcher has 14 points (three goals, 11 assists) on the season while Denver's overall record is now 9-2-3.
Tyson Jost (University of North Dakota): The University of North Dakota took on Michigan State this past weekend in back-to-back games. Jost contributed two goals on Friday, but the Fighting Hawks fell 4-3 against the Spartans. North Dakota and Michigan State fought in a hard battle Saturday night, but the game ended tied 2-2 after overtime. Jost now has 15 points in 15 games (five goals and 10 assists), while the Fighting Hawks now stand 7-5-3 overall.

Cam Morrison (University of Notre Dame): No.12-ranked University of Notre Dame competed in two games this past weekend in the Shillelagh Tournament on home ice. The Fighting Irish skated first against Holy Cross on Friday and won 5-3. On Saturday, they fell 2-0 to the Clarkson Golden Knights in the championship game. Morrison now has eight points in 14 games this season after tallying four goals and four assists. The Irish's record is 7-5-2 overall and 3-2-1 in conference play.
Ben Storm (St. Cloud State University): St. Cloud State University did not have any games this past week. St. Cloud is 6-6-0 and 2-4-0 in conference play. Storm has two assists in 12 contests.

Sweden

Gustav Olhaver (Rogle BK J20, Super Elit): Rogle BK lost both of its matches this past week, as the team was shutout twice. Rogle lost 3-0 to Farjestad BK on Friday and fell 4-0 to Orebro HK on Saturday. Gustav Olhaver saw ice time in both matches. He has 10 points on the season (three goals, seven assists). The team is 5-16-4 overall.
Adam Werner (Bjorkloven, Allsvenskan): Bjorkloven didn't have much success this past week, losing all three of its games. The team first saw BIK Karlskoga on Wednesday and was defeated 6-0. Goaltender Adam Werner was pulled in the second period after making nine saves on 13 shots. Bjorkloven then played Timra IK and fell 4-2, with Werner facing 19 shots on the night. Sunday was its last contest of the week, and Bjorkloven failed to find the back of the net again in a 4-0 loss to IK Panther. Werner's record is 8-8-2, and he has a 2.58 goals-against average and a .905 save percentage after 18 games this season.
Wilhelm Westlund (Almtuna IS, Allsvenskan): Almtuna IS played two games last week and went 1-1 in those contests. Westlund scored his first goal of the season on Wednesday night in Almtuna's exciting 6-5 overtime victory over AIK. On Friday, Almtuna took on Sodertalje and lost 2-1. Westlund has one goal and four assists this year in Allsvenskan.

Slovakia

Maximilian Pajpach (HK Poprad, Slovak Extraliga): Maximilian Pajpach has split this season between HK Poprad of Slovak Extraliga and MHC Martin B in Slovakia's second-tier pro league. Pajpach has a .889 save percentage and 3.44 goals-against average in six games for Poprad. He's recorded a 7.05 goals-against average and .828 save percentage in five contests with MHC Martin B.

KHL

Denis Parshin (Salavat Yulaev Ufa): Denis Parshin was traded from Avangard Omsk to Salavat Yulaev Ufa on Thursday and made his mark in his first contest. He scored his team's only goal in a 2-1 loss to Lokomotiv Yaroslavl on Sunday. He has six goals and seven assists in 29 KHL games this season.
Andrei Mironov (Dynamo Moscow): Dynamo Moscow played three games this past week, and it started off by losing 2-1 in overtime against Traktor Chelyabinsk on Wednesday night. Dynamo then skated on Friday against Salavat Yulaev but lost 2-1 once again. The team played its final game of the three on Monday night and was able to rally for a 3-2 shootout win. Andrei Mironov did not skate in any of the contests. He has four points in 11 games (one goal, three assists).

High School

Nate Clurman (Culver Academy): Culver Academy did not have any games this past week. The Eagles will compete in three games during the Shattuck-Saint Mary's School Showcase beginning on Friday.

Central Interior Hockey League

Luke Walker (Terrace River Kings): Walker is currently playing for the Terrace River Kings in the Central Interior Hockey League in British Columbia. Colorado's fifth-round draft choice in 2010 spent the last three seasons in Europe.
