DAL@WSH: Fans celebrate Ovechkin's 800 career goals

Sergei Ovechkin had a great assist at Capital One Arena on Thursday.

Alex Ovechkin's 4-year-old son updated the Washington Capitals' goal counter to the veteran forward's milestone goal.
With help from his mom, Nastya, and Capitals mascot Slapshot, Sergei flipped the banner to the number 800 as his dad looked on with delight.

Ovechkin became the third player in NHL history to score 800 goals
after scoring a hat trick against the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday.
The Capitals captain is one goal shy of tying Gordie Howe for second most goals in NHL history.
