In preparation for the 2017-2018 NHL season, the Toronto Maple Leafs will travel to the Gale Centre in Niagara Falls for training camp beginning Friday, September 15 to Sunday, September 17. The weekend will give fans the opportunity to Stand Witness to training camp activities including practices, scrimmages, a Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni game and various outdoor activations.

The team will hold daily practices and scrimmages at the Gale Centre Arena Friday through Sunday with arena doors opening to fans at 9 a.m. On Saturday at 7 p.m. the puck will drop in a matchup between Toronto Maple Leaf greats and the Canadian Armed Forces Base Borden, doors will open to fans at 6 p.m. The Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni Roster includes Nik Antropov, Dan Daoust, Tom Fergus, Al Iafrate, Peter Ing, Tomas Kaberle, Brad May, Ric Nattress, Dave Reid, Steve Thomas, Rick Vaive, Todd Warriner, and Tiger Williams. Additional players to be added and the final roster is subject to change.
The daily events inside the Gale Centre, including the Leafs Alumni Game on Saturday night, will be ticketed and any fans wishing to gain entry will require a ticket. A limited inventory of 1,000 free tickets will be made available each event day, first come, first served, in the morning starting at 8 a.m at the Leafs Mobile Fanzone in the parking lot of Gale Centre Arena. The limited, free tickets for the Leafs Alumni Game will be distributed starting at 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 16. Tickets to all events are free with a donation upon entry benefitting the Niagara Children's Centre. . Additionally, Rogers customers will have the opportunity to access advance tickets through GamePlus. Customers can redeem beginning September 14 through GamePlus in the MyRogers app.
The Leafs' fan experience will continue outside of the Gale Centre with outdoor activities for fans of all ages. The Leafs Mobile Fanzone, Leafs Nation tents, free giveaways, contests, and prizes will be ready for Leafs Nation throughout the weekend. As well, Maple Leafs Hockey Development Staff will conduct clinics and other development programming for select minor hockey groups from the Niagara region. Following training camp, the team begins preseason action at Air Canada Centre against the Ottawa Senators on September 19. The following preseason games will be held at Ricoh Coliseum and will see matchups against the Buffalo Sabres on September 22, the Montreal Canadiens on September 25 and the Detroit Red Wings on September 30.
