The Toronto Maple Leafs will host thousands of young fans at the game, including groups from MLSE LaunchPad, The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), NHL & NHLPA Future Goals Program, Scotiabank sponsored minor hockey teams, community partners and contest winners. The team is encouraging all fans attending the game to bring a youth or new fan with them to help share their passion for the Blue and White. To commemorate the occasion, all fans attending the game will be treated to a special youth-driven pre-game ceremony along with exciting in-game festivities to celebrate the fun synonymous with hockey. Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to win great prizes provided by Scotiabank.
"Scotiabank is committed to helping young people reach their infinite potential, both on and off the ice, and have supported one million kids and counting through the Scotiabank Community Hockey Sponsorship Program," said Clinton Braganza, Chief Marketing Officer, Scotiabank. "Hockey matters to Scotiabank because it matters to Canadians and we are proud to support the Next Generation Game as it celebrates the future of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the team's fans."
Special viewing parties will be held at Real Sports Bar & Grill, MLSE LaunchPad and SickKids (private event). These viewing parties will feature special guests from the Maple Leafs family, exciting giveaways and other various elements for an action-packed afternoon celebrating hockey.
