Tampa Bay forward Nikita Kucherov became the third Lightning player all-time to reach the 100-point mark after recording 39 goals and 61 assists during the regular season, joining Vincent Lecavalier (108 pts. in 2006-07) and Martin St. Louis (102 pts. in 2006-07)...Kucherov's 100 points were the second most by a right wing in Lightning history behind only Martin St. Louis' 102 pts. in 2006-07...Kucherov finished third in the race for the NHL's Art Ross Trophy and was one of three players this season to reach 100 points.
Kucherov became the sixth Russian-born player to record 100 or more points in a season in NHL history, joining Alex Ovechkin (4x), Evgeni Malkin (3x), Alexander Mogilny (2x), Pavel Bure (2x) and Sergei Federov (2x), and the first to do so since Malkin in 2011-12...Kucherov set career highs for assists (61), points, penalty minutes (42), power-play points (36) and shots (279) in 2017-18, and his 39 goals ranked tied for ninth in the NHL and were one away from his career high (40 in 2016-17)...Kucherov's 61 assists were the fourth most all-time by a Lightning player and third most by a Tampa Bay right winger.

Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy finished the regular season 44-17-3, the 44 wins setting a Tampa Bay franchise record for most victories in a season, surpassing the total of 40 set previously by Ben Bishop in 2014-15...Vasilevskiy finished tied atop the standings for goalie wins in the NHL, becoming the first Lightning goalie to lead the Leauge in wins at seasons end.
Vasilevskiy posted eight shutouts during the 2017-18 regular season, setting a Lightning franchise record for shutouts in a season (previous high: 7 - Nikolai Khabibulin in 2001-02) and tied with NSH's Pekka Rinne for most in the NHL this season.
