Each week, TampaBayLightning.com will provide statistical updates on key prospects throughout the Canadian Hockey League (CHL), the United States Hockey League (USHL), and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and will highlight select players from the club's American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch.

LW Boris Katchouk, Sault Ste. Marie GreyhoundsDrafted 44th overall (2nd Round) in 2016
Helping Canada to a World Juniors gold, Katchouk added three goals and three assists in six games. He returned to the Soo with a vengeance, scoring a goal and recording two assists for Third Star in their 7-3 win over Guelph on Sunday night.
C Alexey Lipanov, Barrie ColtsDrafted 76th overall (3rd Round) in 2017
Lipanov ranks fourth in Colts' scoring with 29 points in 35 games.
C Christopher Paquette, Peterborough PetesDrafted 148th overall (5th Round) in 2016
Through 35 games so far, Paquette has 10 goals and four assists.
RW Taylor Raddysh, Sault Ste. Marie GreyhoundsDrafted 58th overall (2nd Round) in 2016
Raddysh finished the World Juniors with two goals and three assists. At the conclusion of the tournament, Raddysh was traded from Erie to Sault Ste. Marie, joining Katchouk and becoming the Greyhounds' third-leading scorer with his 44 points. His 16 power-play assists lead the Soo roster. He has not yet played a game.
Western Hockey League (WHL)
D Cal Foote, Kelowna RocketsDrafted 14th overall (1st Round) in 2017
Foote recorded one assist during the World Juniors, and will return to Kelowna leading all Rockets' blueliners in scoring with 30 points.
D Libor Hajek, Regina PatsDrafted 37th overall (2nd Round) in 2016
Hajek's Czech Republic fell to the U.S. in the bronze medal game, but Hajek was second among all tournament defensemen with a goal and five assists. He returned to Saskatoon and recorded an assist in their 4-2 win over Kootenay on Saturday, and was traded to Regina on Monday afternoon. He is on a four-game point streak, and ranks fourth in overall Pats scoring from the blueline with 25 points.
C Brett Howden, Moose Jaw WarriorsDrafted 27th overall (1st Round) in 2016
With three goals and four assists, Howden finished second in Canadian scoring at the World Juniors. He will return to Moose Jaw on a three-game point streak.
D Oleg Sosunov, Moose Jaw WarriorsDrafted 178th overall (6th Round) in 2016
Sosunov is third in Warriors scoring for defensemen with 17 points in 41 games.
Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL)
C Otto Somppi, Halifax MooseheadsDrafted 206th overall (7th Round) in 2016
With three points in three games so far in January, Somppi is third in Halifax scoring and leads his club with 31 assists.
UNITED STATES HOCKEY LEAGUE (USHL)
C Cole Guttman, Dubuque Fighting SaintsDrafted 180th overall (6th Round) in 2017
Through 17 games this season, Guttman has 11 points for sixth overall in club scoring. Guttman is currently out with an injury.
D Nick Perbix, Omaha LancersDrafted 169th overall (6th Round) in 2017
Perbix has 10 assists in 22 games to lead all Lancers defensemen in scoring.
NATIONAL COLLEGIATE ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION (NCAA)
F Ross Colton, U. of Vermont (Hockey East)Drafted 118th overall (4th Round) in 2016
Colton leads his team in both goals (11) and points (13) through 19 games in his sophomore season. His seven power-play goals are tied for second among all NCAA D-I skaters.
F Ryan Lohin, UMass Lowell (Hockey East)Drafted 208th overall (7th Round) in 2016
Lohin added a power-play assist in Lowell's 6-0 shutout of Vermont on Friday and followed it up with a two-goal, two-assist performance on Saturday over Massachusetts. He leads his team in assists (13) and points (20) through 21 games.
D John MacLeod, Boston University (Hockey East)Drafted 57th overall (2nd Round) in 2014
In his senior season on the Terriers' blueline, MacLeod has recorded one assist in eight games.
G Kris Oldham, U. of Nebraska-Omaha (NCHC)Drafted 153rd overall (6th Round) in 2015
Oldham is 1-2-1 with a 4.12 goals-against and a .867 save percentage.
D Ryan Zuhlsdorf, U. of Minnesota (Big Ten)Drafted 150th overall (5th Round) in 2015
Zuhlsdorf has eight assists through 24 games so far this season for his Gophers.
AMERICAN HOCKEY LEAGUE - SYRACUSE CRUNCH
Syracuse has won five in a row … They play three times this week, twice on the road Wednesday and Friday before coming home Saturday … Matthew Peca leads all skaters with 28 points … Four players (Michael Bournival, Adam Erne, Mitchell Stephens, and Alexander Volkov) are tied for the team lead with 10 goals.
