With another two goals last week, Brayden Point upped his 2020-21 total to 18 and took over the team lead.

On Tuesday in Nashville, Point got the Lightning on the board early in the second peirod with a power play goal. Point set up in front of Juuse Saros and had Victor Hedman's shot deflect off his body and past the Nashville netminder to get Tampa Bay back within two goals.

FLA@TBL: Point tips home Sergachev's feed

Point was held off the scoresheet in Thursday's OT win over the Panthers but scored and added an assist in Saturday night's series finale. He got open below the right circle and redirected home MIkhail Sergachev's shot to cut the deficit to 2-1 in the first period. He then set up Mathieu Joseph's third period goal, feeding Hedman at the point for a shot that Joseph managed to tip past Sergei Bobrovsky.
In addition to now leading the Bolts in goal scoring, Point's 38 points are also the second most on the team.
