The Tampa Bay Lightning continue their road trip with their first matchup of the season against the New York Rangers at 7 p.m. Sunday.

TONIGHT'S MATCHUP
Tonight, the Lightning are playing their first of three games against the New York Rangers (and first of two games at Madison Square Garden) in 2016-17...Tampa Bay went 1-2-0 against the Rangers last season and fell 3-2 in its only game at New York, ending a threegame win streak for the Bolts at MSG...The Bolts have lost two straight to the Rangers after winning the previous five in a row in the regular season, including all three regular season meetings in 2014-15...The Lightning outscored the Rangers 4-1 in the first periods of the three meetings last season but were outscored 6-1 in third periods...Tampa Bay is 20-23-2 with two ties all time against the Rangers at MSG in the regular season...The Lightning are 42-41-4 with five ties all-time overall in the regular season against the Rangers.
