The Lightning reached the 60-win mark with a 5-2 win over the Senators in Ottawa on Monday night.

The Bolts opened the scoring 12 minutes into the first period, with Yanni Gourde cashing in for his 21st goal of the year. Gourde took advantage of a wide open net after Craig Anderson was taken out of position by a beautiful passing sequence between Nikita Kucherov and Brayden Point.

After Brady Tkachuk tied the game with a goal late in the first, the Lightning pulled away in the second.

Mikhail Sergachev gave Tampa Bay the lead, scoring on a shot from the point that Anderson couldn't track through a screen in front of the net.

Point then doubled the Lightning's lead with a goal 14 minutes into the second period. Gourde collected a rebound off the boards and sent a behind-the-back feed to Point who quickly fired a shot past Anderson.

Max Veronneau scored early in the third period to get Ottawa within one but Gourde responded with his second goal of the game 48 seconds later. Braydon Coburn sprang Gourde on a breakaway who beat Anderson to reestablish Tampa Bay's two-goal advantage.

Steven Stamkos added a goal on the rush late in the third to give the Bolts a 5-2 lead and round out the scoring.

The new line combination of Gourde, Point and Kucherov paced the Lightning's offense. The trio combined for eight points with Gourde and Kucherov each collecting three individually.
