The Golden Knights snapped their three-game winless streak with a 4-1 win against the San Jose Sharks on Sunday night at SAP Center. Logan Thompson made 35 saves on 36 shots to record his first NHL win in his second start of the season. Jack Eichel posted his first two-point game with the Golden Knights as he scored the game-winning goal and added an assist on a Max Pacioretty goal. Keegan Kolesar and Chandler Stephenson also found the back of the net in the win.
OPPOSITION UPDATE
Arizona sits last in the NHL heading into Friday's contest with 30 points and a 13-34-4 record. The Coyotes are 3-5-0 this month and are coming off a 3-2 loss to Los Angeles on Wednesday night. Clayton Keller represented the Coyotes at NHL All-Star Weekend and has a team-high 45 points (21G, 24A) while Shayne Gostisbehere has posted 30 points (8G, 22A) from the blueline.

The Golden Knights breezed to a 7-1 win in their only meeting against the Arizona Coyotes this season on Dec. 3 at Gila River Arena. Six players recorded multiple points as Max Pacioretty (2G), Nicolas Roy (1G, 1A), Michael Amadio (1G, 1A), Evgenii Dadonov (1G, 1A), Reilly Smith (2A) and Shea Theodore (2A) all had a pair of points.
