Jack Eichel led the way with three points (1G, 2A) as the Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Edmonton Oilers, 5-1, in Game 3 on Monday night at Rogers Place. Vegas leads the series, 2-1.

HOW IT WENT DOWN
After Warren Foegele got the Oilers on the board early in the first, Jonathan Marchessault scored twice as the Golden Knights carried a 2-1 lead into the first intermission. The second period was all Vegas as Zach Whitecloud, Eichel and Chandler Stephenson all lit the lamp to put the visitors up by four heading into the final frame. Neither side found the back of the net in the third period as the Golden Knights took the 2-1 series lead.
