The preliminary round of the 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship concludes with four games Monday night and some prospects of the Vegas Golden Knights have been key contributors to their respective teams.
Cody Glass, Canada
Glass has been a sparkplug for the Canadian offense in the tournament. He recorded four assists in Canada's opening-game rout of Denmark and scored a goal in the second game against Switzerland. His five points place him in a tie for third in scoring on the undefeated Team Canada.
Erik Brannstrom, Sweden
Brannstrom's performance on Sweden's blueline has been nothing short of dynamic. He's scored four goals in three games to help the Swedes to three victories in three games. Sweden's captain opened the tournament with both goals in a 2-1 win against Finland.

Lucas Elvenes, Sweden
Elvenes has chipped in offensively for Sweden with one goal and three assists. He had a two-point game against Slovakia and will be an important part of Sweden's team as the tournament progresses.
Jonas Rondbjerg, Denmark
Rondbjerg and Team Denmark wound up with three losses in three games. They conceded 22 goals in those three games and didn't score a single goal. Rondbjerg, the team captain, had a -3 rating in those three games.
Jiri Patera, Czech Republic
Team Czech Republic hasn't had the success it had hoped for at the World Junior Championship. Patera struggled in a loss to Canada and has a save percentage of .800. The Czechs snagged an overtime win against Switzerland but dropped games to Russia and Canada.
Ivan Morozov, Russia
Russia started the tournament with three victories. Morozov has scored one goal and brings valuable depth to Russia's forward corps as they look to make noise in the next round.
The teams that will move on to the elimination rounds are in action on Jan. 2.
