1. MARCH FORTH
The Flyers finished off one of their most successful Februarys in franchise history with just one regulation loss at 10-1-2 - nine of the 13 games were decided by one goal with over half of the games in the month going past regulation (7) ... Now they enter a March schedule that will see them play 15 games in a 28-day span, finish off their final four back-to-backs of the season and play the final four games against the Western Conference... Tonight's game also kicks off a five-game in eight-day span.

2. BAKER'S DOZEN?
The Flyers are riding a six-game winning streak entering tonight, which is part of a larger streak where they have earned points in 12 straight games... They are looking to make it 13 in-a-row for the first time in 19 years, when they had a 15-game streak in 1998-99... During the 12-game streak the Flyers have received goals from 15 players and are led by captain Claude Giroux who has seven goals, 16 points and a plus-11 rating... Shayne Gostisbehere leads the defense with 15 points, all assists, while Brandon Manning is second on the team's defense with six points (2g-4a)... They have also used four goaltenders in that streak who have combined for a 2.09 GAA and .929 save percentage.
3. STORM WARNING
The Hurricanes come into tonight on a six-game losing skid, their longest stretch since a six-game skid in 2014 (Dec. 4-16) and are looking to avoid a seven-game skid for the first time since they started that 2014-15 season with eight straight losses... The skid couldn't come at a worse time as they are fighting for the final wild card in the East... They are tied with the NY Islanders with 65 points, four points behind the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2nd wild card position at 69 points.
4. THERE'S HISTORY THERE
The last three meetings between the two teams have all gone past regulation with the Flyers earning a win in the first meeting this season three weeks ago as Jordan Weal scored the game-winner with four seconds left in overtime... The Flyers have also won four of the last five meetings at the Wells Fargo Center (4-0-1), but dropped the last meeting, a 4-3 shootout loss in the last game of the 2016-17 season... Shayne Gostisbehere averages a point per-game against the Canes with 10 points (4g-6a) in 10 career outings, while Sebastian Aho averages over a point per-game pace against the Flyers with eight points (4g-4a) in six contests.
5. PLAYERS TO WATCH:
FLYERS (G: #34 - Petr Mrazek)
Mrazek is the likely starter against Carolina and has made quite an impression since joining the Flyers in a trade from Detroit - he is a perfect 3-0-0 with a 1.30 GAA and .947 save percentage in three starts... He has the last three Flyers wins, including Monday's 1-0 shootout win at Montreal... Mrazek also has impressive numbers against the Hurricanes, posting a 6-1-0 record, 1.71 GAA and .951 save percentage against Carolina, which includes winning his last three starts.
HURRICANES (LW: #86 - Teuvo Teravainen)
Teravainen is the hottest Cane player as of late, recording a goal and an assist in the last game and has posted goals in three of his last four... He also has six points, all assists, in eight career games against the Flyers including an assist on the Hurricanes only goal in their first meeting this season... The Blackhawks' first round pick (18th overall) in 2012 is having a career year with the Hurricanes in all three offense categories - goals (16), assists (33) and points (49).
