1. MAKING UP FOR LOST TIME
The Flyers take on the Washington Capitals for the first time since they had what was supposed to be their second meeting cancelled due to COVID protocol on Feb. 9... They will now play the Caps three times in the next four games over the span of the next six days... Tonight's game is the second of back-to-back for the Flyers who suffered a 4-3 loss at Pittsburgh on Saturday - it's also the sixth and last game of a stretch of six games in nine days with the Flyers going 3-2 in the first five... For the Caps, it's their fifth game in the last nine days - they are 3-1 in the first four.

2. BETWEEN THESE TWO
The Flyers took a 7-4 win in the first meeting of the year on Feb. 7 in a game where they fell behind 0-2 in the first period... The Flyers then scored seven of the next nine goals on 23 shots and had 11 different skaters record points, including six who posted multi-point games... They have also won four in-a-row against the Caps, which is their first four-game winning streak over Washington since a span from 2013 - 2015... They haven't won five consecutive against the Caps in nearly 20 years - since they won six straight from Oct. 10, 2001 to Nov. 2, 2002.

3. FLYERS LATELY...
After a five-game road trip in which they went 3-2-0, the Flyers now have a four-game homestead where they are 6-2-2 so far this season... The Flyers are also a perfect 5-0-0 in games immediately following a regulation loss and still have not suffered back-to-back regulation losses in their last 47 regular season games (three in-a-row from Dec. 31, 2019-Jan. 4, 2020).

4. CAPS LATELY...
Washington comes into tonight's game having earned points in eight of their last 10, going 7-2-1 for 15 points which is tied for the most points by any NHL team since Feb. 16... The Caps have the NHL's fifth-best power play at 26.7%, but have not scored on the man advantage in their last five games and have just one goal in their last six (1-for-15)... They have also gone perfect on the penalty kill in their last three games (7-for-7) and allowed just one PK goal in their last five games, killing 13 of 14 penalties.

5. PLAYERS TO WATCH
FLYERS (RW: #11 - Travis Konecny)
Having just recovered from COVID-19 and returning three games ago, Konecny comes into tonight's game with four points (1g-3a) in his last two outings and he logged a season-high 18:17 of ice time in his last game... He was held without a point in the first meeting this year but has three goals and four points in his last four games against the Caps.

CAPITALS (C: #19 - Nicklas Backstrom)
The fourth overall pick in the 2006 NHL Draft leads all players in his draft class in points (953) and assists (700)... He leads all players from the start of his NHL career (since 2007-08) with his 700 assists... Against the Flyers, he posted three points (1g-2a) in the first meeting and averages over a point per-game in his career with 58 points (20g-38a) in 50 games against the Flyers.
