The Devils (47 points) come into tonight's game three points behind the Flyers in the wild card standings, and visits Philly for the first of two times this year, but overall second of five meetings this year after taking a 4-0 win at Newark on Dec. 22… The Devils have won six of their last seven meetings at the Wells Fargo Center (6-1-0) and are 12-3-3 overall against the Flyers since the start of the 2012-13 season.

Provorov has put up points in four of his last six games… His 20 points this season (3g-17a) leads the Flyers defense and ranks second among all rookie defensemen, while also leading all rookie d-men in even strength scoring with 17 points… Provorov leads the Flyers in average time-on-ice this season at 21:19 which is third among all NHL rookies.
DEVILS (RW: #9 - Taylor Hall)

On January 21, 1984… Dave Poulin earns the first hat trick of his NHL career, tallying the second, fourth and fifth goals of a Flyers 7-1 home rout of the New York Islanders.
