Til' Caps Do Us Part

Getting married at a hockey game isn't your average wedding, but for Ryn and Mark it just happened that way.

The pair, who hail from Columbia, MD, are both long-time Capitals fans and didn't initially plan on getting married during the Capitals vs. Senators game, but when they picked a day and looked at the calendar, they saw the Caps were playing.
"I said 'oh let's just do it there!' We wanted to take our friends to do something fun, that we all love," said Ryn.
The couple spent the whole day doing things Caps related. They went to Caps morning skate donning their custom 'bride' and 'groom' Caps jerseys before getting their wedding party together for the big night.

Their wedding party and guests included several friends as well as Mark's brother who was actually the officiant of the matrimony.
They were nervous going into tonight that they wouldn't be able to get a spot on the glass during warmups for the ceremony to take place but it all worked out in the end.

It was a very special day for the two who wouldn't have had it any other way. Today also happens to be their five-year anniversary!
