Random Acts in the W is a community-focused campaign developed to give back to Caps fans surrounding the everyday moments in which individuals may need their spirits lifted or efforts recognized.

Less than 7,000 people ever have climbed the entire 29,032 feet of Mount Everest. It's one of the most dangerous activities you can do on planet Earth.

One of the latest to accomplish this almost impossible feat, is a Virginia local and die hard Caps fan.

Bryan Tropeano hails from Clifton, VA and has been a lifelong Capitals fan. His dad has been a season ticket holder since the inaugural season, and he and his brother Andrew now also carry on the tradition.

Climbing Mt. Everest has been a goal of Bryan's since he was six years old.

"I started out rock climbing, white water rafting, etc. as a young kid and the thought of standing on top of the world was always something that was a top goal in life," he says.

He sought out to conquer the highest mountain above sea level, rocking his Capitals beanie throughout the entirety of the climb, even being stopped by another climber that told him, "Go Caps!"

Bryan successfully completed his climb and reached the summit on May 15th. Once at the top, Bryan pulled out a Caps rally towel and proudly displayed it for what turned out to be an epic photo.

However, this isn't the first time Bryan has summited a mountain rocking Caps gear. In 2011, he and his brother summited Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa as seen below.

He's traveled across the country to watch his beloved Capitals play and rocking the red atop the world's highest mountains is the cherry on top.

"My goal is to carry Caps gear to the top of all 7 summits - the tallest points on every continent," says Bryan. "I now have 2 completed, including the hardest one, so hopefully Caps gear will be at the top of every continent soon!"

Now that, is peak fandom.
