The Canucks visit the Los Angeles Kings in Salt Lake City, Utah for their second road trip of the pre-season and first neutral site location. The Canucks went 2-2-0 in the season series versus the Kings in 2017.18. They were led in scoring by Loui Eriksson (2-2-4) and Thomas Vanek (1-3-4).

UPDATE

Gaunce, Leipsic, Pettersson, Beagle, Pouliot and Nilsson did not take part in Canucks morning skate and will not play tonight in Utah. Hutton and Tanev did skate, but will not play, while Eriksson also joined the group and there's a chance he may return Tuesday in Edmonton, said Coach Green.
Markstrom starts and is scheduled to play the entire game.

"We know what type of line-up they'll have tonight, it's projected to be their line-up for the season, so they're going to come out flying," said Bo Horvat. "We have to match their intensity and match their compete level."
