Vancouver, BC - The Vancouver Canucks will honour Daniel Sedin's 1,000th career NHL point with a special on-ice pregame ceremony prior to the 4:00 pm puck drop on Saturday, December 2 versus the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Fans are encouraged to be in their seats early as Sedin's historic milestone will be celebrated with a special pregame ceremony which will include a tribute video that looks back at some of the significant moments of his career, leading up to this historic achievement.
Canucks fans can commemorate the night with limited edition Daniel 1000 merchandise available exclusively at the Canucks team store, including Daniel 1000 shirts and commemorative pucks.
Sedin earned his 1,000th career point on November 30th versus the Nashville Predators, becoming the 87th player all-time to reach the milestone. He also became the second player in Canucks franchise history to reach 1,000 points joining his brother Henrik who accomplished the feat last season on January 20th versus Florida. In 1,251 NHL games, Sedin has recorded 376 goals and 625 assists. He ranks first all-time in franchise history in goals, even strength goals (245), power play goals (131), game-winning goals (82) and shots on goal (3,337).
