If you hail from BC you have likely witnessed the beauty that is the North Shore mountains, but sadly not many are aware of the dangers they can present if you enter the backcountry unprepared.

Introducing 'Canucks to the Rescue'

In this 6-minute short-film Canucks Alex Biega, Brendan Gaunce and Derrick Pouliot team up with members of North Shore Rescue to simulate a rescue mission and help raise awareness about the 3 most important things to consider before heading into BC's backcountry.
Armed with a tracking device Derrick Pouliot is left stranded atop a mountain, entrusting Alex and Brendan to do their part and complete the rescue mission.

A trek that only takes minutes by air, is all too often taken on-foot by unprepared hikers and outdoor enthusiasts that sometimes require rescuing.
