TAMPA – The Canadiens announced on Monday that they’ve recalled defenseman Adam Engstrom from the AHL’s Laval Rocket.
Engstrom, 22, has played 45 games for the Rocket in 2025-26 and is the team’s top point-getter among defensemen with 34 (10G, 24A).
A native of Jarna, Sweden, Engstrom has also played 11 games over two stints with the Canadiens this season, registering a plus-3 differential while averaging 12:32 of ice time.
Engstrom will be joining the team in Tampa.
