CUT

With the 2020 NHL Playoffs in the rear-view mirror, we're back with another edition of Social Roundup, presented by Truly Hard Seltzer, to see what's been happening with the boys this offseason.
Probably the biggest news so far was the announcement of a new member of the 5th Line: Nico David Keanu Gerbe! CBJ forward Nathan Gerbe and his wife Brennan introduced their new boy (and fourth child) via Twitter yesterday afternoon and received plenty of well wishes!
Congrats to Nathan and Brennan!

In other news, our football friends up in Cleveland and Cincinnati are back on the gridiron, signaling the start of autumn. Of course, being in Central Ohio, we couldn't just pick one team to cheer for, so we send our love to both the Browns and Bengals ahead of Week 1's kickoff!

The Browns and the Bengals aren't the only ones who are back slinging the pigskin. Our hometown Buckeyes received word earlier this week that the B1G TEN is back in business! Ohio State will kick off their season on October 24 against Nebraska. We were excited to say the least โฌ‡๏ธ

Other than Nathan Gerbe, what else have the guys been up to recently? Well, our favorite Frenchman, Alexandre Texier, celebrated his 21st birthday on Sunday. We're already looking forward to the night he's back on the ice!

Cam Atkinson is enjoying himself on the links and even had a special partner join him up at Double Eagle Golf Club in Galena, Ohio. Christopher McDonald, the actor who played Shooter McGavin in Adam Sandler's hit comedy "Happy Gilmore," joined Cam as well as professional PGA golfer Jason Day. Not a bad start to the offseason!

With the Stanley Cup Playoffs wrapping up here over the next few weeks, we'll continue to get you caught up on everything CBJ as we look forward to the start of next season. See you next week!
