The Blackhawks will kick off their 2019-20 regular-season home opener on Thursday, Oct. 10, with a special red carpet event featuring the team's arrival before they host the San Jose Sharks that evening.
The event will be held inside the United Center Atrium, offering an exclusive opportunity for fans holding tickets to the home opener to see the 2019-20 Blackhawks players make their arrival for the game at approximately 5 p.m. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to secure their viewing space along the red carpet as this event is expected to hit capacity.
NBC Sports Chicago's Pat Boyle and Blackhawks Television Studio Host Steve Konroyd will emcee the event with additional commentary from Blackhawks alumni-turned-analyst Adam Burish and NBC Sports Chicago's new in-game reporter Nick Gismondi. NBC Sports Chicago will air coverage in a "Red Carpet Special" at 6:30 p.m. prior to Blackhawks Pregame Live.
