Colorado hosts another Central Division foe in the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday night at Pepsi Center. After this weekend's contest, the two teams won't square off again until March, where they'll play each other three times during the month.

Avs In The Community

The annual Mile High Dreams Gala - A Toast To Our Teams will take place on Nov. 15 and gives fans the opportunity to mix and mingle with Colorado Avalanche players, coaches, alumni, ice girls and mascot Bernie. The event features food tastings from Denver's best restaurants, a variety of libations, live music, photo stations, casino games and much more. Proceeds benefit the community programs supported by Kroenke Sports Charities.

Player Spotlight: Alexander Kerfoot

Kerfoot registered his first career multi-point game against the St. Louis Blues. His three points are the most recorded in a game by an Avalanche player this season, and he's tied for the team lead with three goals. Kerfoot now has five points (three goals, two assists) in eight games and is tied for ninth in points and fourth in goals among NHL rookies.
