The tournament is scheduled to begin on Aug. 1 with 24 teams competing in the Stanley Cup Qualifiers. The 12 participating Eastern Conference teams will play in Toronto, while the 12 participating Western Conference teams will compete in Edmonton. The 2020 Stanley Cup Qualifiers will feature the top four teams from each conference, referred to as the round-robin games, playing one another to determine seeding in the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

"Altitude Sports is excited to be televising Avalanche games and making them available for all fans," said Kenny Miller, EVP & General Manager of Altitude Sports. Before each Avalanche broadcast, Altitude will feature Avalanche Face-off, a one-hour pregame show with up-to-the-minute news, features, interviews and more right up to puck-drop. Immediately following the game, Altitude will air a 45-minute postgame show.

Altitude will also air a 30-minute Avalanche Sports Social show that aims to educate and inform viewers about the Colorado Avalanche's upcoming return-to-play. Programming will provide exclusive content that includes interviews with players, coaches, executives and behind-the-scenes glimpses into the team's championship quest. The weekly show, hosted by Altitude Sports talent, will air Tuesdays and Fridays at 6:30 p.m. MDT.

Marc Moser and Peter McNab will return as the team's play-by-play announcer and color analysts. Kyle Keefe, Mark Rycroft, Lauren Jbara and John-Michael Liles will host the pregame and postgame shows along with the intermission reports.

Radio broadcasts of all the exhibition games and all three round-robin games can be heard on Altitude Sports Radio 92.5 FM, with select games possibly airing on Altitude Sports Radio 950 AM. Conor McGahey will continue to deliver radio play-by-play and Mark Bertagnolli will return as studio host.
