Canadiens to auction off 'Favorite Things' baskets for charity

Players, GM hand-picked items to raise money for team's Children's Foundation

Chocolates and hats and plenty of reading material, these are a few of the Montreal Canadiens "Favorite Things."

The team is auctioning off unique gift baskets with hand-picked items from players with the proceeds going to the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation. Baskets are currently up for bid on the
League's Auction site
.
Each basket contains various items that have some kind of personal connection to each player like hockey memorabilia or some favorite reading material.
Captain Max Pacioretty, all-stars Carey Price and Shea Weber and general manager Marc Bergevin are among those who participated this year.
Bids will be accepted through March 25.
