As the only player to record all 1,000 of his NHL games in a Wild sweater, Wild captain Mikko Koivu became the 55th NHL player to reach the milestone skating for a single franchise.

It's fitting that 14 years after he scored his first NHL goal against the Anaheim Ducks, the Wild will honor Koivu's milestone when they meet the Ducks on December 10.
Koivu becomes the seventh player to play his 1,000th game in a Wild sweater, joining Ryan Suter (10/15/18), Eric Staal (3/19/17), Matt Cooke (3/11/14), Matt Cullen (1/10/12), Andrew Brunette (2/1/11) and Keith Carney (2/24/08).
