On October 11, the Minnesota Wild partnered with AAA Movers, Let's Play Hockey, and Minnesota Hockey to host a Used Equipment Drive with the goal of making hockey more accessible to communities across Minnesota.

Beginning September 16, collection bins were placed at 16 rinks throughout the Twin Cities metro area, with AAA Movers assisting in placing and picking them up.

Following the collection, a small group of Minnesota Wild staff gathered at the AAA Movers facility in New Hope to sort through thousands of donated items and prepare them for distribution. Select community partners, including Minnesota Diversified Hockey, St. Paul Parks and Recreation Hockey, TCQHA and Team Trans, were invited to receive early access to the equipment.

The distribution event took place on Sunday, October 11, from 11 a.m. to noon at Grand Casino Arena, where thousands of pieces of gently used hockey equipment were made available at no cost to individuals and community hockey organizations. Minnesota Wild staff were joined by Mosaic Hockey Collective volunteers to assist attendees with equipment fittings.

Thanks to the generosity of donors and the support of community partners, the Minnesota Wild continues to advance its commitment to creating a greater State of Hockey, one piece of equipment at a time.
