Lamoureux

Utah Hockey Club announced today that defenseman Maveric Lamoureux has been recalled from the Tucson Roadrunners, the club’s American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate. The club has also assigned defenseman Patrik Koch to Tucson.

Lamoureux, 20, has posted 2-1-3 in four games with the Roadrunners this season. Last year, he tallied 9-24-33 and 53 penalty minutes (PIM) with a plus-21 rating in 39 games with the QMJHL champion Drummondville Voltigeurs. Lamoureux also represented Canada as the club’s alternate captain at the 2024 World Junior Championship, tallying 1-2-3 in five games.

The 6-foot-7, 214-pound native of Laval, Quebec registered 19-64-83 and 210 PIM in 152 career QMJHL games with Drummondville. Lamoureux was named the club’s alternate captain for the past two seasons.

Lamoureux was drafted by the Arizona Coyotes in the first round (29th overall) of the 2022 NHL Draft.
