During the NHL Prospect Challenge, the Ottawa Senators will host an open practice and fan activations — including street hockey, face painting, photo stations, and balloons and inflatables — outside Centre Slush Puppie, where the games will be held.
The action will get underway at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12, when the Senators will open the doors at Centre Slush Puppie for a practice. At 12 p.m., the park will open for activations, which include a street hockey rink, a DJ, balloon twister, and photo stations.
At 1 p.m., the Winnipeg Jets will take on the Montreal Canadiens. Then, at 5 p.m., the doors will open for the Sens game. Ahead of their game at 6 p.m., the rookies will sign autographs on the Centre Slush Puppie concourse, beginning at 5:15 p.m. The outdoor activations will end at 6 p.m., as the Senators and Leafs take the ice.
On Sunday, the outdoor activations will re-open at 12 p.m. At 1 p.m., the Leafs will play the Jefs. At 5 p.m., the doors will open for the Sens game against the Canadiens. At 5:15 p.m., the rookies will again sign autographs on the concourse, ahead of their game at 6 p.m.
