Learn to Synchro

Ford Ice Center Clarksville offers two different options for skaters who are interested in synchronized skating. While these classes aren't required before trying out for an SES team, they are highly recommended!

  • Intro to Synchro: These 30 minute classes are offered around Learn to Skate classes with the intention teaching skaters the very basics of synchronized skating: connecting to your teammates and skating in unison. Skaters who have passed Basic 1 are eligible to participate. Classes will be offered periodically between January to June of 2026.

  • Learn to Synchro: Skaters will learn the fundamentals of synchro both on and off the ice to prepare them to join one of our synchro teams in the future! Sessions include four weeks of on ice instruction, two weeks of off ice instruction, and two informational sessions for parents and skaters to learn about synchro and ask any questions they might have about the fastest growing discipline of figure skating in the United States. Skaters must have passed Basic 4 or higher. Registration for the November/December session is coming soon!
