Vegas Golden Knights assistant coach Misha Donskov brought the Stanley Cup home to honor the memory of his father.

Donskov took the Cup home to Ohio where he visited Donskov Hockey Development, a hockey school founded by his dad, Paul, to help young players become the best they could be.

On Wednesday, the Donskov family gathered at the facility and held the Cup in front of the locker room stall that still bears his father's picture above it.

Paul Donskov spent his life coaching hockey, moving from Serbia to Toronto as a young boy and then to Columbus, Ohio as an adult. The Columbus Blue Jackets even named their high school hockey scholarship award the

. He died in 2020 after battling cancer.
