William Carrier once caught a fish this big.

How big?

About the size of the top three rings and bowl of the Stanley Cup.

How could we possibly know that? There's photographic evidence.

The Vegas Golden Knights forward spent a day on the water recently and took along his good buddy Lord Stanley. The Cup must have been good luck for the fishing enthusiast who displayed his catch proudly next to the trophy.

Carrier, we're sure, would say that of the two, the Cup was a much more elusive pursuit.
