Artemi Panarin, the drink thief, struck again on Wednesday.

The New York Rangers forward took TNT broadcaster Darren Pang’s drink again during the team’s game against the New Jersey Devils at Madison Square Garden.

During a first period stoppage, Panarin skated over to Pang who had a red drink and blue drink next to him between the benches. The veteran forward opted for the blue drink.

A few minutes later, Panarin scored the game’s first goal, his 45th of the season, for a 1-0 Rangers lead.

At the beginning of the third period, the Rangers star then decided to try the red drink.

“Ah, there’s my buddy right there,” Pang said when he saw Panarin.

The drinks proved to be a good luck charm again when late in the third period, the Rangers forward set up Chris Kreider’s game-winning goal that gave the Rangers a 4-3 lead.

This has become a practice for Panarin when the Rangers are featured on the NHL on TNT broadcast. On St. Patrick’s Day, he swiped a sip of the broadcaster’s green drink.

Panarin wasn’t the only Rangers player Pang had a laugh with on Wednesday.

Before the game, the commentator posed with Rangers rookie Matt Rempe to highlight their height difference. Pang stands at 5 feet 5 inches and Rempe is 6 feet 7 inches.
