BOSTON -- A.J. Greer scored his second goal 1:12 into overtime to give the Boston Bruins a 3-2 victory against the New York Rangers at TD Garden on Tuesday.

Jack Studnicka had two assists for Boston, and Jeremy Swayman made 24 saves.
Adam Fox and Alexis Lafreniere scored, and Jimmy Vesey had two assists for New York. Jaroslav Halak made 14 saves on 15 shots in the first 32:46, and Louis Domingue made 19 saves on 21 shots in relief.
Fox scored at 7:03 of the first period to give New York a 1-0 lead. Vincent Trochek had the primary assist in his Rangers debut.
Greer tied it 1-1 at 5:01 of the second period, but Lafreniere scored off a scramble in front to give the Rangers a 2-1 lead at 7:17.
Oskar Steen tied it 2-2 for the Bruins with a shorthanded goal at 6:40 of the third period.
