The Montréal Canadiens are featured in seven games throughout the regular season, the first visiting Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals on October 14, and two games against their storied rivals, the Boston Bruins, on January 6 and March 10.
The Calgary Flames, Winnipeg Jets, and Ottawa Senators each appear four times on the schedule this season. The action features Brady Tkachuk's return to Ottawa as the Florida Panthers face the Ottawa Senators on October 21. A week later, the Edmonton Oilers host the Calgary Flames for the Battle of Alberta on October 28. Wednesday Night Hockey sees the Vancouver Canucks face the Detroit Red Wings on November 25 and the Anaheim Ducks on December 16. Plus, the schedule is highlighted by five all-Canadian matchups throughout the season.
