Status report
Carrick is week to week but not ruled out for the Stanley Cup Playoffs, Sabres coach Lindy Ruff said. The forward was injured in a fight with New York Islanders forward Anders Lee during a 4-3 win Tuesday and did not return. Dunne will enter the lineup. ... Ostlund, a forward, is skating and remains day to day. ... Crotty was recalled from Belleville of the American Hockey League on Thursday and will replace Yakemchuk, who left a 6-3 loss to the Florida Panthers on Tuesday and is in concussion protocol.
