TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning hold a total of seven picks at the 2018 NHL Draft, which gets underway with picks 1-31 on Friday, June 22 at 7:30 p.m. (NBCSN) at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. Rounds 2-7 will be held on Saturday, June 23 starting at 11 a.m. (NHL Network).

The Lightning do not own a first round pick but retain the remainder of their selections. They also own the 206th overall pick in the seventh round, which Tampa Bay received from Los Angeles in exchange for forward Bokondji Imama.
The Bolts made six selections in Chicago during the 2017 NHL Draft. That included defenseman Cal Foote of the Kelowna Rockets in the first round, 14th overall. After Foote, the Lightning selected forwards Alexander Volkov in the second round, 48th overall, and Alexei Lipanov in the 3rd round, 76th overall. The Lightning made two picks in the sixth round, including defenseman Nicklaus Perbix of Elk River High School in Minnesota at 169th overall and center Cole Guttman from the Dubuque Fighting Saints of the USHL at 180th. Tampa Bay closed out the 2017 draft by selecting center Samuel Walker from Edina High School with their only selection in the seventh round, 200th overall.
