TAMPA BAY - Tampa Bay Sports & Entertainment and the Tampa Bay Lightning today announced the appointment of Casey Rodgers to the position of chief financial officer, chief executive officer Steve Griggs announced. Rodgers will provide strategic financial management leadership for the organization, as well as Tampa Bay Entertainment Properties, while also providing direct oversight of the finance, human resources and legal departments. He reports directly to the CEO.

Rodgers joins TBSE from Feld Entertainment, Inc., where he most recently served as vice president, financial and strategic planning since 2009. In that role, he served as the senior executive responsible for managing all aspects of Feld's worldwide finances and strategic operational planning. Rodgers was also responsible for negotiations, capital and operating budgeting, cash management, treasury, internal controls, banking relations, business planning and IT resource planning, to name a few.

Rodgers' career at Feld spanned nearly 20 years, beginning in 1998 when he joined the organization as a senior financial analyst. During his tenure, he also served as director of finance, planning and analysis, as well as vice president of finance.
The industry veteran has a bachelor's degree in aviation management from the Florida Institute of Technology and a master of business administration from the University of Maryland. He is a board member of the Bradenton Area Economic Development Corporation and also serves as the treasurer of Manasota Youth Travel Hockey. Rodgers is also a FAA licensed dispatcher and commercial, multi-engine instrument rated pilot.
