SP0034 - Player of the Month - March 16x9

No surprise here.

In addition to taking home the NHL's First Star of March, Nikita Kucherov has been named the Bolts’ Best Player of the Month.

The forward is chasing down a third consecutive scoring title and stacked a League-leading 26 points onto his season resume last month. If Kucherov can get it done over the final few weeks of the regular season, it would mark the fourth Art Ross Trophy of his career.

Nikita Kucherov lights the lamp again, extending the lead to 3–0 against the Kraken

Kucherov recorded point streaks of four and six games over throughout March. The first began with a four assist performance on March 7 at Toronto that was immediately followed by a three point outing against the Sabres the following evening. To start the six game run, Kucherov recorded his seventh career hat trick and added a pair of assists in a win over the Kraken.

One game into the final month of the regular season, Kucherov sits two points behind Connor McDavid in the scoring race. His 83 assists are tied with McDavid for the most in the League and Kucherov's +45 rating is the second highest among NHL skaters.
