After playing every minute from the Round Robin through to the Stanley Cup Final last Summer, Andrei Vasilevskiy's string of consecutive starts continued through all six of the Lightning's games in January.

He started the month by allowing only three goals in Tampa Bay's two-game sweep of Chicago, including a 35-save performance in a 5-2 win over the Blackhawks on January 15.

CHI@TBL: Vasilevskiy makes save on DeBrincat at horn

Ironically, Vasilevskiy's best performance of January came in a losing effort to Carolina on the 28th. Vasilevskiy held the Hurricanes scoreless for over 60 minutes before giving up a game-winning goal to Martin Necas 1:12 into overtime. He was called upon to make some big saves in the third period, including a massive stop on an Andrei Svechnikov one-timer, that helped the Bolts at least force overtime and escape Raleigh with a point.
Vasilevskiy finisehd the month with a 4-1-1 record, a save percentage of .925 and a goals against average of 2.15. Even with the Lightning having three games postponed, Vasilevskiy's four wins were tied for the fifth most in the League in January.
