VEGAS (September 10, 2026) – Vegas Golden Knights General Manager Kelly McCrimmon announced today, September 10, that the team has signed forward Braeden Bowman to a six-year contract extension through the 2032-33 season worth an average annual value of $3,400,000.
Bowman, 23, made his NHL debut with the Golden Knights last season and appeared in a total of 54 games while producing 26 points (8 G, 18 A). Shortly after making his debut in November, the forward scored a goal in three-straight games and recorded a point in five-straight, both of which tied franchise records for a rookie. In the American Hockey League, Bowman has seen action in a total of 88 games, all with the Henderson Silver Knights, collecting 62 points (26 G, 36 A). Bowman registered 26 points in 20 games with Henderson in 2025-26, including 14 points in eight games during the month of April, earning him AHL Player of the Month honors. His 1.30 point per game rate in the AHL during the 2025-26 campaign marked the highest among any AHL forward with 15 or more games played.
Prior to professional play, the native of Kitchener, Ontario spent four seasons with the Guelph Storm of the OHL and served as captain in his final year. During Bowman’s four years in Guelph, he posted a total of 180 points (97 G, 83 A) in 184 contests and appeared in an additional 13 postseason games. The organization first signed Bowman to an AHL contract prior to the 2024-25 season.
