The Ducks will open the highly anticipated 2019-20 season on Thursday, October 3 at Honda Center versus the Arizona Coyotes (7 p.m.). All fans in attendance will receive a free Ducks 2019-20 magnet schedule presented by Fox Sports Prime Ticket.
For this season's Opening Night experience, the Ducks are urging fans to be in their seats by 6:45 p.m., as in addition to player introductions, the club has added a custom laser light show, elevating this season's Opening Night celebration.
This year's 21st Duck, Lera Doederlein, who embodies characteristics such as great perseverance, character, courage and inspiration will also be walking the orange carpet with the team on her way in to making her debut on the roster for opening night. Lera was born with Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita (in both legs). After several surgeries and facing life in a wheelchair, Lera decided to take control of her mobility in 2017 and elected to have a double above knee amputation. Now 16 years old, Lera is dedicated to finding and creating her own way in sports as a bilateral amputee, as well as advocating and serving as an ambassador for adaptive sports.
The Anaheim Ducks Foundation will conduct the first 50/50 raffle of the regular season with proceeds supporting and facilitating programs that create positive change for children and families throughout Southern California. Please visit sections 207, 212, 224, 311, 413 and 430 or find a roaming seller on the concourse to purchase raffle tickets (sellers will be wearing "50/50 Raffle" bright blue shirts). In addition, this season Direct Energy Business will donate $25 dollars for every goal the Ducks score during the regular season. Fans are invited to make the Anaheim Ducks Opening Night festivities interactive by using the hashtag #DucksOpeningNight on social media platforms. All fans will receive a magnet schedule courtesy of Fox Sports on egress.
