Smith-Pelly Participates in Coats for Kids Annual Coat Distribution

Washington Capitals forward Devante Smith-Pelly participated in the Children's Charities Foundation's Coats for Kids annual coat distribution on Dec. 20 in Washington, D.C.

Smith-Pelly distributed coats to pre-kindergarten through fifth-grade students at Aiton Elementary School. He also distributed coats to third grade students from Thompson Elementary School at pop-up shop on I Street.

Through the annual Coats for Kids program, more than 4,000 brand new coats were distributed to homeless and disadvantaged youth in greater Washington Region on Dec. 20.
