Zack MacEwen has come a long way.
The 22-year-old has put in the time, put in the work and now he's putting it all together. It ain't easy becoming a social media darling.

You may remember MacEwen from last year's prospects development scavenger hunt.

This year, MacEwen, who signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Canucks in March 2017 and played last season with the Utica Comets, stepped up his game and was been keeping a vlog during the 2018 Young Stars Classic in Penticton.
The Charlottetown, P.E.I., product checked in before the Canucks opening Young Stars game with insight into his game day.

The Canucks took down the Jets 8-2 in the first of two Young Stars games, obviously meaning the MacEwen vlog was good luck. So he made a sequel, featuring Elias Pettersson, Jonathan Dahlen and details of their day off.

Vancouver beat Winnipeg 6-4 in the second Young Stars game, so the tournament was a success for the Canucks. MacEwen enjoyed his moment in the social media spotlight, meaning the 6-foot-4, 212-pounder was up for one final sign off vlog, with some help from bus seatmate Adam Gaudette.

MacEwen journeys to Vancouver, where he'll take part in Canucks main camp, beginning later this week.
