Family Night at Nationwide Arena - Saturday, Dec.10

Fans who donate toys at Nationwide Arena on Family Night will receive a complimentary pair of tickets to the January 3 game vs. Edmonton

COLUMBUS, OHIO - The Columbus Blue Jackets are set to host Family Night with kid-friendly activity stations, promotional giveaways and a charitable toy collection when the club hosts the New York Islanders on Saturday, December 10. Game time is 7 p.m. Themed highlights include the following:

-   Blue Jackets trading card set giveaway (kids 12 and under)
-   Family photo station
-   Caricature sketch station
-   Balloon artists and face painters
-   Kids' scavenger hunt with chance to earn team prizes and grand prize from Step2
-   "First Game" pucks, courtesy of College Advantage, for kids attending their first Blue Jackets game  

Family Night also includes a toy collection in partnership with the "Big 10TV Toy Drive" which supports the Salvation Army of Central Ohio's efforts to brighten the holidays for local families in need. Before the Dec. 10 game, donations of new, unwrapped toys will be accepted outside the arena's main entrances. Fans who donate toys that night will receive a pair of complimentary tickets to the January 3 game vs. the Edmonton Oilers.

For those unable to make it to the game, toy donations are being accepted now through December 10 at the FOX Sports Ohio Blue Line at Nationwide Arena, the FOX Sports Ohio Blue Line at The Mall at Tuttle Crossing as well as the local OhioHealth Chiller Ice Rinks. Additionally, donors may drop off toys at a drive-through collection at the 10TV studios (770 Twin Rivers Dr., Columbus, OH 43215) on Thursday, December 8 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Stinger and other Blue Jackets personalities will be making special appearances during the drive.

The Blue Jackets return to action tonight when they host the Tampa Bay Lightning. Game time from Nationwide Arena is 7 p.m. ET.
