As Colton Dach and the Seattle Thunderbirds continue to keep their hot streak going, other junior players and the Rockford IceHogs look for their first wins in the next round of tournament play for their respective leagues.

DACH STAYS HOT, OTHERS LOOK FOR FIRST WIN

After setting a franchise record with 10 straight wins in the playoffs, the Seattle Thunderbirds currently lead their series 2-0 against the Kamloops Blazers. With 11 points (3G, 8A) in all playoff contests this series, Colton Dach continues to lead all Blackhawks prospects in offensive production and currently holds a five-game point streak.

As for teammate Kevin Korchinski, he recorded one assists in the latest team victory to bring his total to 10 in the tournament and ranks second among all Seattle blueliners in points. Following behind him is fellow prospect Nolan Allan who ranks third among defensemen with six points (1G, 5A).

Over in the OHL, Ethan Del Mastro and the Sarnia Sting look to secure their first victory in the third round of the tournament after going 0-2 against the London Knights. In 12 playoff games, the defenseman produced eight assists and a plus-six rating.

The Gatineau Olympiques and Samuel Savoie also struggled to look for their first win of the third round in the QMJHL as they fall 0-2 to the Quebec Remparts. Savoie currently has seven points (2G, 5A) through 11 games.

All three teams will play in the third matchup of their series on Tuesday evening.

ROCKFORD LOOKS TO HOLD ON

Heading into the AHL playoffs, the Rockford IceHogs kicked off their first two games against the Texas Stars in the second round of playoffs. However, Rockford came up short in both matchups putting them at 0-2 in the series.

Joey Anderson leads the IceHogs this series after producing his first two career goals in the postseason with one of them coming off the power play.

In his first playoff appearances, Alex Vlasic continues to get his production going after securing two assists over the weekend. In four playoff games, the defenseman recorded four assists to help his team get on the board.

Jalen Luypen, who was assigned to the IceHogs on April 10, made his professional debut on Friday night in the team's 5-3 loss.

Rockford will look to keep their playoff hopes alive on Wednesday night as they face Texas in their third matchup of the best of five series.
